About Us
The Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation was created in April, 2010 to honor the life and memory of Christopher Brandle, who passed away from Medulloblastoma, a form of pediatric brain cancer, on March 31st, 2010. The main purpose of the Foundation is to provide charitable contributions to organizations dedicated to pediatric brain tumor research, primarily focusing on Medulloblastoma. In addition, our Foundation may provide financial assistance to families that are struggling with the costs of caring for a child stricken with a pediatric brain tumor. Our Foundation is a non profit organization and holds tax exempt status as a 501(c)(3) corporation.
We will be forever grateful to our dear family and friends, who not only supported us during Christopher’s cancer treatment but continue to support us now and have helped us get Christopher’s Foundation underway. We also would like to thank Christopher’s doctors and nurses at Massachusetts General and New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s hospitals who worked tirelessly to treat Christopher and keep him comfortable during his final days. Lastly, we are so appreciative of the almost 1500 people that supported our family on the Pray for Christopher Brandle Facebook page. Please be join our new Facebook page Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation.
Although our Foundation is new, we are committed to assist in finding a cure and advance the treatment of pediatric brain cancer. Our Foundation has made good progress in establishing itself and we will continue to be involved in many types of fundraising events. Along with our medical advisory board, we will seek out the best possible ways to distribute the money that we raise. We welcome anyone who is interested in helping our Foundation to contact us.
