Casino Night 2011

On February 10th, 2011, the Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation held its first annual Casino Night fundraiser at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ. We would like to thank the over 400+ guests who helped us raise over $50,000 and make this event a tremendous success.

We would also like to thank our many sponsors and donors, especially our high rollers: Wilenta Carting, VP Security, Residential Home Funding, Academy Fire Protection and Veteran’s Plumbing. Thanks also to the Kourgelis family for their amazing hospitality and for providing the perfect venue for our event. Finally, thanks to our family and dear friends, especially trustee Jim O’Connor who worked tirelessly to obtain sponsors and donations.

Each event helps bring us closer to achieving our goal of funding the most valuable pediatric brain tumor research and to provide financial assistance to families struggling with the costs of caring for a child battling a brain tumor.

Second Annual Rock Out 2011

On October 1st,2011 the Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation held its 2nd Annual Rock Out at the Oakland Recreation Complex. The event featured live music from Steve Brown and the Fallout, a barbecue, and many games and crafts for children of all ages. Thanks to our friend A.J. Licameli, the event also featured a helicopter landing by the NJ State Police! Although the weather wasn’t perfect, the event was very well attended and a good time was had by all. We hope to see everyone at next year’s Rock Out!

First Annual Rock Out 2010

On Saturday, September 25th, the Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation hosted our first fundraising event, a family ‘Rock Out’. The outpouring of support from the Oakland community was overwhelming.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and made this event such a tremendous success. We extend a huge thank you to the very many people who donated their time as volunteers and to our family and close friends who graciously gave so much of their time before, during and after the event. Their dedication, talent and generosity are so immensely appreciated. We will be forever grateful to all of you for making this event a truly special experience. Christopher was surely smiling down on all of us that day!
