What does the Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation do?

The foundation funds pediatric brain tumor research focusing on medulloblastoma. We also work through social workers at local hospitals such as Columbia/ NY Presbyterian and Hackensack University Medical Center, to provide financial assistance to families caring for a child with a brain tumor. All proceeds go toward funding research grants or assisting families; no salaries are paid from the foundation; we are 100% operated by volunteers.

What events can I attend to support the foundation?

The Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation holds 2 fundraising events each year: a casino night in mid-March and a wine tasting in late October.

 

Are there volunteer opportunities?

The Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation is a small, 100% volunteer operated organization so we always appreciate volunteers.  Volunteer opportunities are available before and during each event. We also are committed to providing volunteer opportunities to students looking to fulfill community service requirements.
